A major aviation disaster unfolded in Ahmedabad on 12 June as Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner headed for London , crashed shortly after take-off from Sardar Vallabhai Patel international Airport. The Plane went down near the city’s Meghani area with 242 people on board, sending plumes of smoke into the sky and triggering a large-scale emergency response with the pilots calling “MAYDAY”. Terrifying visuals showed debris raining down on to the ground, and the panic residents fled the area. NDRF teams, fire brigades , and airport security quickly arrived at the crash site as the it was just meters away from Airport. The DGCA team has been ordered to investigate the matter, which is now India’s most serious air incident in years. in rescue operations, there were questions . was it a technical fault? many more… Luckily there was a survivor.. yes out of all 250+ people there was one.
